In honor of Valentine’s Day I thought I would write about what I consider my loveliest souvenir. It was actually a gift from the amazing and crazy talented Barbara Agnes. Barbara is a scarf designer, she’s actually a scarf artist. She hand draws the patterns on her scarfs and she is seriously talented. Plus every scarf comes with a trademark freshwater pearl on one corner… I mean does it get any better??
I met Barbara over coffee in In one of my favorite cafe’s in the St Germain district (Le Pré aux Clercs). We got together so I could interview her on what to pack if one is planning a trip to Paris – stay tuned for that. And she brought me one of her scarfs. In a word, I was speechless at the kindness and beauty of both the gesture and the scarf. Check out Barbara’s designs here.
